Hello friends. I just want to take the time to say hello and thanks to each and every one of you for reading my blog. I pray that what you've read here so far has been a blessing to you. If so, I encourage you to share this blog with any and everyone you know.
I've had a rough few months, but I can see the finish line and God is waiting there for me, cheering me on. I've actually learned (through the experience of being stressed and overworked) that you must purposely take time out to just relax, have fun and enjoy life and have it more abundantly (read John chapter 10).
So, I'm actually between vacations right now. I took a mini-vacation this weekend to Hershey, Pa to attend my first Joyce Meyer conference. It was fantastic, and while I could go on for hours about my experience, stay tuned to future blogs about the event. God showed up in a mighty way and I want to make sure I don't miss a thing, but more of that will come in the next few days.
Before I leave you now, I just want to take this opportunity to share Christ with those of you who don't have a personal relationship with Him. Romans 10:9 says "Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
Maybe you've known of Christ all your life, but don't know what it is to be in a relationship with Him. Or, perhaps you have been in a relationship with Him, but have distanced yourself for a while now. Please believe me when I tell you, no matter what age, stage or situation you might be in, God loves you (see John 3:16) and he wants to be a part of your life.
If you want Christ to come into your life, or if you want to renew your relationship with Him, please pray this simple prayer with me (Yes...I'm praying it with you!)
God, thank you for loving me despite my circumstances and mistakes. Forgive me of all of my sins. I believe that you sent your son Jesus as a ransom for mankind, as a ransom for me. I believe that you raised Him from the dead and that He lives. Lord Jesus, I accept you into my heart today. Cleanse and transform me into your image, God, because your Word calls us to be perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect.
Thank you for new life. Thank you for salvation. I give all I am and all I will ever be to you. I love you, Lord. Amen
If you have prayed this pray and truly believe in your heart that you are saved, God will begin to show Himself to you in a mighty way. It won't happen overnight, because as we all know, relationships take time and commitment to grow. Allow yourself to grow in Christ. Find a great church home (one that teaches the Word of God) and just let God do His thing. If you don't know where to begin looking for a church, start talking to people. Someone you see or talk to everyday just might be waiting to invite you to church with them! (For real!)
And if all else fails, I know lots of people in many different places, so no matter where you're reading this from, I'm sure I can help. Just leave me a comment.
As always, I'm praying for you all. Stay blessed and know that God loves you.
